概要
水の贈り物を：パキスタンの生活を変える井戸
きれいな水は生活を変えます。きれいな水は貧しい人々を苦しめる病気のサイクルを断ち切ります。健康を維持することで、彼らは働くことができ、家族に食料を提供することができます。毎日水を汲みに行かなければならない少女たちの毎日の生活リズムも変わります。
シンド渓谷には、近隣の農場で労働者として働く家族の集団で構成される村が数多くあります。 これらの村のほとんどは、低カーストのヒンドゥー教徒の家族で構成されており、彼らは無知と貧困の世代間サイクルから抜け出せずにいます。 コミュニティ・トランスフォーメーション・ファウンテン・パキスタン（CTFパキスタン）の私たちのチームは、1つの村に対して掘り抜き井戸を掘るか、または浄水器を用意するために、およそ5000米ドル（費用はそれぞれの地域の状況によって異なります）で手配することができます。 その後、祝いの食事会が用意され、村の人々は、外部の人々が自分たちに価値を見出し、自分たちを気にかけていることを知らされます。なぜなら、自分たちは神に愛される同じ人間であり、仲間だからです。

Building a well story 2025
Here’s a fun little story of how just one family in Australia recently got to have a major impact in the lives of a village in Pakistan.
An Australian family heard that there was a village needing water in Pakistan and that it would cost about $3,000 to get them water. They decided to do it! Some friends of theirs were going on a trip to Pakistan and they decided to support with the water well project as their contribution!
They donated the money the water well, and then the team that we work with in Pakistan did the work of getting the well organised, and they sent some local people and the visiting team from Australia to go celebrate the well being opened with the village.
This is the kind of thing we love to do at Impacting Asia… we love sending people on trips, and helping local groups to do what they see as being needed and possible in the areas of education and development in Asia.
Well, imagine the smiles all around, when the family who sponsored the water project started getting photos of the people that they helped! It made it so real for them!
They could show the photos and talk to their kids in real time about how this village of 100 people now didn't have to walk 8KM to get to the closest dirty water source, or travel 20KM to get to the closest clean water!
They now have their very own pump right there in their village! When the team sent the photos through that day of the village and the well there were smiles in Pakistan and smiles in Australia! This is just one example of how Impacting Asia can help connect individuals, families, businesses, not for profits or churches with some great local teams in Asia who are doing local work to make earth just a little bit more like heaven!
